Yaniv’s Shows: “Passport to Broadway” & “A World of Song”

In “Passport to Broadway,” Yaniv Zarif goes through iconic hits from West Side Story and Les Miserables to The Lion King and Wicked, but presented in various languages, and interspersed with world music numbers from the cultures of these shows—such as the African anthem “Pata Pata,” sung in the tongue-clicking language of Xhosa.

“A World of Song” is a variation on his “Passport to Broadway” show in which Zarif goes through not only Broadway favorites, but also hits from Ray Charles to Celine Dion and Michael Bolton and more.

From English, Italian, and Spanish to Japanese, French, and even American Sign Language (Zarif is an award-winning ASL song interpreter), Zarif’s shows are both powerhouse concert and cultural celebration.
